*How to give a less serious touch to a private party in a Restaurant*
More and more clients ask us how to give a more personal touch to a party table or a private room in a restaurant without spending too much money. I think the key is to choose few things and always following the colors or theme initially chosen. In this case we chose a very country table with the combination of Jute, Kraft and yellow. I leave you some tips and ideas that never fail.
2. Ask at the restaurant that the tables be covered with a basic plain white cloth tablecloth. Take them a few days before the celebration a table runner that you like and that matches your theme and ask them to dress the tables with it. They can place it along the entire length of the table or crosswise, across the width. This will give more color to the table. Jute is an eco, natural option that always looks good.
In our Showroom we are placing sheets of tissue paper on our party tables , it is another option... the good thing is the cheap price, there are many variety of colors and patterns available. The bad thing.... is that the finish is not impeccable since it is still a simple paper. You can also use it to decorate by putting it inside wooden boxes, on trays or inside baskets. It will give color to your table.
3. Combine this table runner with matching paper napkins. If you do not want to give up cloth napkins for food, it is an option for the appetizer or for the children's table. Incorporating some point of color that unifies everything helps a lot to achieve the effect we are looking for. This is the time to choose a napkin with some figure of the theme. 4. Give a touch to the children's table with some details such as disposable tableware in the colors you have chosen for the party, an individual bottle with its paper straw for home drinks or a simple gift for everyone. A small jar with country honey decorated with a personalized label is always a pleasure.
5. When thinking about the decoration of the place, a good advice is to limit the space to decorate a little. If the space is very large, all the decoration that you put will be "diluted" and it will be more difficult for the effect to be complete. In short, concentrate your decoration materials and your effort on points in the room or place. A corner, a column, a central table... don't try to decorate the whole place, you'll spend a lot of money and if you don't have experience it's very difficult to make it look good.
Decorate the place with Pom Poms, honeycomb balls and balloons. Choose what you like best and combine sizes and textures by grouping them. Take a string and go tying balloons, Pom Poms and honeycomb balls along it alternately. Try to get them as close as possible to the rope, so you will get a decorative "group", which with the same gravity will take shape.
6. Set up your own Candy Bar... Sweet tables have become an essential at any First Communion, Wedding or Christening party. Ask the restaurant to prepare a table for you with a white tablecloth in an area that you like. If you are not very " candy " you can make a table of fruit, nuts or flavored Gourmet Popcorn . They will love it.
