A sober and elegant boy's communion

Many children dream of a Football First Communion party, and many mothers dread it. Ultimately, as mothers and fathers, we want our children to have the party they dream of, because it's a special day, but we don't want it to look like a children's birthday party.

I believe this Football First Communion is a clear example that a football theme can indeed be elegant and sober. We were lucky enough to set up this party on the Rooftop of the Hotel Sofía in Barcelona, a wonderful place with an incredible view of the city and lots of light... the finishes perfectly complemented the theme. I'll tell you a little bit about it in case it serves as inspiration for the decoration of your next Football First Communion. Almost everything is available in our shop in the Vintage Football collection, so it's very easy to copy.

At the entrance to the room, we placed an easel with a personalized sign welcoming guests. A large eco-friendly latex balloon with Héctor's name written by hand in black and hanging ribbons provided a welcoming touch.

The children were seated at round tables with white tablecloths. We distributed balloons throughout the room, at different heights, with fabric ribbons and cards. The XL balloons gave a festive touch to the room. As a gift for the children, we decorated metallic water bottles with the initials of each guest. The gift, in addition to decorating the table, served as a place card. It was a very original and, above all, useful gift. Nothing worse than giving useless things at a communion.

On the terrace, we set up a 6-meter XL foosball table where 24 people could play at once. They played family matches, a foosball championship among everyone, it was a success! Everyone played and was entertained for a long time. Several balloon bouquets of footballs decorated the terrace.

We set up a corner with Vintage wooden boxes and a raffia basket with assorted aromatic plants, decorated with ribbon and a card with the message "Thank you for joining us on this special day." One small basket per family... it's perfect, we love giving these! It's a detail that has a double function: On the one hand, it's a gift that everyone is delighted to take home and place in their kitchen, and on the other hand, it greatly decorates the party itself and adds freshness.

It's an economical alternative to flowers. There were so many baskets that we also used them as centerpieces and to decorate the buffet tables.

This sweet table was one of the ones we enjoyed the most, and we loved how it turned out. Personally, I was very afraid that it wouldn't look elegant, or that it would be boring... I wanted it to be the center of the party, and I think we achieved it. I'm very happy with the result, the proportion of the table, the colors... I think nothing was superfluous, and I love it! This time we collaborated with Soraya from Sweetmama for the pastry. In addition to everything being premium quality, her design is perfect. I'll leave you detail photos of the table so you can see for yourselves and tell me what you think. We combined a Football Candy Bar Kit with Soraya's pastry, and the result was amazing :)
