All ready for a barbecue in the garden with friends
In this post I want to show you the table that we set up with some Pallets for a "Hamburger" at a barbecue that we did in the garden at home with friends. In the end between friends and children we get together a few and when this happens to us I think a good hamburger is an easy option and that everyone likes. Of course, a good hamburger... with all possible top quality ingredients and that each one mounts it to their liking.
I set up a large table with some Pallets with everything you need. We put a wooden envelope on the recycled pallets to avoid accidents and a frayed jute tablecloth on top that covered it. Zinc basins with a jute handle and wooden trays are perfect for food.
A drink dispenser with a homemade lemonade with hints of mint and lots of ice gave us a lot of play. Later in the afternoon, it became Gin Tonics for adults... I'm more and more a fan of dispensers, they seem like a great idea for each person to serve their own fresh drink, without messing up, as well as being very decorative. Note that I put it on a box to make it easier for everyone to serve easily and without spilling.
In order not to dirty dishes and then be able to enjoy with friends, we used individual Kraft boxes , potato chips boxes and individual hamburger boxes that were a success! Vichi square napkins and wooden cutlery gave a rustic touch to the table decoration.
Each guest had their own " Barbecue Kit " which consisted of a printed envelope with the wooden cutlery inside.
The jars are handmade because I didn't have mine on hand and I made them a few days before. The truth is that I had seen this idea on Pinterest and it seemed very easy to do. I bought some jars of jam at a Chinese bazaar in town and pierced the lids with a metal drill. The hole must be the size necessary for the straw to enter without problems... you will see that they have not been completely perfect, but the straw enters without problems and I loved the red and white square for this table.
I did a test and it turned out perfect... I printed the KIT BARBACOA logo on some Kraft paper envelopes on my home printer with black ink and I gave each of my guests their Barbecue Party Kit.
