Ideas to decorate at Christmas
Decorating your home for Christmas doesn't have to be complicated or expensive, it's all about putting a little imagination into it! We will give you some tips and ideas so that your house is ready to receive your family this Christmas.
Choose the colors with which you want to decorate your house and always try to follow the same color line. In this case you will see that Red / White and some natural touches such as wood and fresh flowers have been used.
Start at the Christmas table . It is the most important place, where all attention is focused. A table runner can help you dress your table and give it a bit of color. We always recommend putting them on a tablecloth of a single color so as not to overload and so that the attention is focused on the other accessories on the table and on the food!

If they are of different shapes and sizes, better! Group several and use them to put food, sweets or treats for the children, fresh flowers, Christmas cones... whatever you want. You can decorate them with cards, ribbons, two-tone Baker's Twine or Washi Tape . The vintage striped paper straws are ideal to give that Christmas touch to your table, in this case they have used red striped straws. You will succeed with this idea!
You can also use the bottles so that each of your guests has their drink. If you have dinner or a snack with small children, we always recommend using individual plastic bottles as you avoid the risk of an accident.
A good homemade cake is always the center of the celebration! You can decorate it by making a mini garland of pennants with pieces of decorated tape such as Washi tape or colored paper and tied to a decorative string.
You can also make homemade Cupcakes or Brownies, put them on a special baking paper base. In this case we have used a rigid paper base for cupcakes or sweets in red with white polka dots and our decorated wooden spoons !
The idea of decorating your Cupcakes or desserts with a Topper or flag is ideal! Many times we see images or papers that we like. You can make your own Toppers yourself in a very easy way. You just have to cut out an image with our Punch or circle-shaped dies and stick them to a wooden stick or to our wonderful wooden skewers .
Take an old wooden box or basket that you have at home and decorate it with a bow or a nice card. If you don't have a wooden box at home, try to ask for a gift at the fruit shop in your nearest market. The ordinary wooden fruit boxes that they throw away look great! Inside it you can place some bags with a mini detail for each of your guests this Christmas. The details are the most important thing to get a total Look!
