A Safari Party for Hugo

I've been a bit missing from the Blog these days... the truth is that May is a month of much joy and a lot of work for the girls of La Fiesta de Olivia . We do not stop packing your orders, answering your questions and for a couple of months decorating your most special parties. I want to show you one that has made us especially excited... a Safari party for Hugo's first Communion at his house in Barcelona.

They asked us to decorate the children's table, a Photocall and set up a Candy Bar with a natural, elegant but childlike touch. The theme of the party is Safari we loved it and it fit what we wanted to achieve. Lots of green, stars, animals, Kraft, natural wood, Jute and touches of gold.

The Jute " Candy bar " garland was the star of the table along with a centerpiece of sweets with fun jumping frogs and two large boxes with Gourmet Milk Chocolate Popcorn and Punto de Sal. If you have not tried this popcorn I recommend it. .. They are burst with hot air and without oil, so they are healthy as well as being delicious.

We decorated the glass jars with golden Spray and with the jungle animals that had funny labels attached to them with the contents of each of the containers.

For the sweet table we choose sweets of brown and green colors. Cloud trunks dipped in chocolate, cloud croissant, Coca Cola spaghetti and frogs of different sizes and flavors.

Safari placemarks served as table signage.

As centerpieces we form groups with pots with "Fat" plants of different types and sizes. We line each of the pots with Kraft paper and tie them with a Natural Jute string. To make it more delicate, we cut the edges of the paper with Zig-Zag scissors.

Many animals from the Jungle hid and appeared among the pots. Place markers with a blackboard finish with the name of each child indicated where each of the children invited to the First Communion party should sit.

We decorate the garden with groups of giant transparent Helium-filled Balloons with colored confetti inside and decorated with Tassel-type tassel garlands.

Each child had a little bottle decorated with a star sticker and a paper straw tied to it. We hope these ideas will help you for your next party.
