The presentation of Holidays! in Barcelona

Last Thursday was a very special day that I think I will always remember. After almost two years of work, he finally presented the book Fiestas . That afternoon was going to be the time to give thanks and hug different people who were involved in one way or another in the creative process and who in turn put a little bit of their love into it.

The place chosen could not be better, it was the bookstore La Casa de Libro on Rambla Cataluña in Barcelona. I don't know if you've ever been, I didn't know it... At the end of it all, it has an interior patio with huge, very old palm trees that were the perfect setting for setting up a beautiful table. SPECTACULAR

That day everything went perfectly... the stars illuminated us, we just had to enjoy the moment. After all, a book is not released every day! Everything happened like this...

A week before, we designed the party, we chose colors and we were giving it shape, it had to be a fun party, with very good vibes and endearing.

I am extremely lucky to have the best work team in the world! Here I am two of them, Erika and Raquel. The three of us complement each other perfectly and with her optimism, joy and great capacity for work, together we carry out new projects and requests for La Fiesta de Olivia every day. Once again thank you girls, you are the best!

That same morning we set up a table in the purest tropical style . The colors chosen were leaf green, very strong Fuchsia pink and touches of gold. The giant letter balloons forming the word FIESTA gave color and announced from the entrance of the bookstore that something was happening there...

The balloons were undoubtedly the protagonists of the decoration. Spectacular giant XL balloons in pink, green and gold decorated with tassels or Foil "Tassel" in gold and Fuchsia filled the space that was enormous!

On the table: a tasting of our new colored Gourmet chocolates , personalized butter cookies that Larysa made especially for the occasion with fondant in pastel colors and the title of the book printed and the best very cold Catalan Cava..., MIA from Freixenet .

I was extremely lucky to have the best Cava!!! Mia de Freixenet 's mini bottles were ideal. In addition to being the perfect size, they are great. They taste sweet and very cold it was the perfect complement.

Two large zinc tubs served as coolers to keep it cold with lots of ice. That afternoon in Barcelona it was hot, it was very appreciated to drink Mia very cold. Not a single bottle left over!

About 7:00 p.m. everyone began to arrive, it was time to meet. There was my family, very good friends, contributors to the book (Our dear Alicia from Oh my Goodies , Larysa Severinova from LaryCookies and the person responsible for most of the photographs in the book, Miriam Nuñez from Kiss and Chips ), suppliers of beautiful party products that They have trusted La Fiesta de Olivia from the beginning, wonderful clients, some Wedding Planner friends (Inma from Paris Berlin Bodas and Alba from A todo Confetti ) and Bloggers from the party world (Tanit Llopart from All Lovely Party and Merci Guzmán from The Visual Corner ) :), many children with their mothers and a group of curious women who could not resist the temptation to go in and see what was happening!!!

Nuria from Libros Cúpula introduced me with such affection that left me very impressed... Thank you Nuria! It has been a luxury working with you. :) Then it was my turn, the truth is that I wasn't nervous to speak in front of so many people... on the contrary, I wanted to enjoy the moment and being surrounded by so many people who love you is really cool.

We gave out ONE MILLION THANKS balloons to each of the guests and candy jars to the children. We set up cups with domes filled with cotton candy that, mixed with MIA, tasted great!!!

Here we are with Raquel and Miriam Nuñez, the brand new photographer of the book... it was a very special moment when I saw her. After working together for so long, we missed her at Olivia's Party.

This is a small summary of those of us who lived last Thursday in Barcelona, ​​a million thanks to everyone who was able to come and as I said on social networks... the next morning I had a hangover from so much affection!!!
