DIY and Free Printable Advent Calendar
An advent calendar is an original and educational idea to give an answer to the question of... Mom... and how much is left until Christmas ?
This activity can help us explain it and it can be an entertaining way to wait for Christmas, decorate our house and at the same time prepare the children for that great day.
One idea is that each paper bag contains, in addition to a small surprise or sweet, a phrase with a good deed such as: helping mom at home, taking dirty clothes to the basket, tidying up or sharing toys, paying attention to dad at the first...
One piece of advice is to choose things that they can do with them, to prepare for the birthday of Baby Jesus, the arrival of Santa Claus, the Three Wise Men or whoever brings gifts and joy home that day.
At La Fiesta de Olivia we wanted to design and give away our own printable Advent Calendar, we hope you like it a lot and it will help you to set up your own at home. You just have to download it in this Link and follow the instructions step by step.

We will need:
24 paper bags, 24 small wooden clips, 3 A4 size sheets (hopefully 100 gr. approx) of the color you prefer so that you can print the file in black and white on your home printer, scissors, 4 mts. approx. of Baker's Twine , string or ribbons and a large 2.5" circular die-cutter and 24 small surprises, chocolates and/or messages to place inside our paper bags .
You can find all the materials in the Advent Calendar collection in our shop here
Print this PDF file on your home printer. Use the paper that you like best and remember that you do not need to have color ink. The file is intended to be printed in black and white.
Once you have the 3 sheets printed, follow the cross cutting marks (indicated with a dotted line and small scissors) and cut the excess paper with scissors so that the die-cutter can get as close as possible to each circular label. Then cut each of the 24 labels with a large 2.5" circular die-cutter. We advise you to always see what you are cutting as shown in the image so that it is as centered as possible.
Then thread the Baker's Twine string through the hole of the 24 wooden pegs and assemble your advent calendar by pressing each peg with each paper bag and label.
In our store you will find a wide selection of items to decorate your home this Christmas and in the new Advent Calendars collection a selection of bags, paper labels and numbers ideal to assemble yours and prepare the children for the countdown.
I hope you like it :)
Precioso !!!!! Mil gracias….
